A Sample Itinerary

Day one
Arrivals at local airports-guests can be collected by car or make their own way to Ventenac for mid afternoon.
Relax, settle in and take a short walk around the area: Canal-du-Midi, the village and Cave (wine co-operative)
Evening meal at the Chateau cooked by Rachel and her team

Day two
Cookery School Morning session covering ingredients and dishes, bread-making and French cookery techniques.
In the evening join Juliet Bruce Jones, Master of Wine, for an introduction to the wines of the Languedoc and a wine tasting followed by a delicious meal which we will have cooked together during the day.

Day three
Cookery School morning session - Patisserie, croissant and brioche workshop

Afternoon visit to a local restaurant, Le Comptoir Nature for locally produced sheep’s milk ice-cream and drinks.
You will then have the choice of a drive, a walk or cycle back to the Chateau along the delightful Canal-du-midi

Day four
Morning visit to Narbonne market and Food Halls, shopping for fabulous local produce
Cookery School Afternoon - Mediterranean tapas: food for parties, picnics and friends. Create dishes from France, Spain, Greece and Italy and make our evening meal.

Day five
Breakfast
Departure (deliver to airports or make own way)
There is the option of staying on for additional nights
